4. Push cable grommet [9] carefully out of
housing and remove it. Alternatively, with
an electrical surface-mounted connection,
leave cable grommet [9] in the housing
and take cable grommet [10] out of the
housing.
NOTICE
Danger of short-circuits and
damage to the unit. Water will
penetrate if the power cable is
incorrectly fed into the fan
housing or if the cable
grommets [9] / [10] are not
fitted correctly.
Cut off cable grommet cap such
that the cable grommets fits
tightly round the power cable.
Cut a minimum of 5 mm off the
cap (power cable can bend
better and electronics cover [6]
can be positioned correctly).
Fit cable grommets correctly,
seal on both sides if required.
5. Insert cable grommet [9] / [10] into housing
[1].
Feed power cable into the
connection area such that the cable
grommet fits around the cable
sheathing completely and does not
penetrate too far into the connecting
area.
6. Lead sensor connection cable, from the
external climate sensor [11], into the hole
provided (
arrow) in the fan housing [1].
7. Insert housing [1] into wall breakthrough/
wall sleeve and secure with two screws.
Do not insert the housing such that it is
twisted or crushed. Make sure you use
mounting material which is sized for the
purpose.
8. Lay sensor connection cable [11] in the
provided recesses (
I, II
) and plug it [A] into
the electronic circuit board [8].
8.3 Electrical connection
DANGER
Danger to life from electric
shock.
Switch the mains fuse off.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to unit in the
event of short-circuits.
Insulate
PE conductor and individual
cable cores that are not required.
1. Only lay single cable cores in the unit. To
do this, remove power cable sheathing
over a length of 110 mm. Strip single cable
cores to 9 to 10 mm.
2. Electrically connect power cable to spring
clip [13] according to connection wiring
diagram [14], also see wiring diagram in
Chapter 13.
