7. Insert housing [1] into wall breakthrough/
wall sleeve and secure with two screws.
Do not insert the housing such that it is
twisted or crushed. Make sure you use
mounting material which is sized for the
purpose.
8. Lay sensor connection cable [12] in the
provided recesses (
I, II
) and plug it [A] into
the electronic circuit board [7].
9.4 Electrical connection
DANGER
Danger to life from electric
shock.
Switch the mains fuse off.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to unit in the
event of short-circuits.
Insulate PE conductor and
individual cable cores that are not
required.
1. Only lay single cable cores in the unit. To
do this, remove power cable sheathing
over a length of 70mm. Strip single cable
cores to 9 to 10 mm.
2. Electrically connect power cable to spring
clip [13] according to connection wiring
diagram [14], also see wiring diagram in
Chapter 15.
3. Check position of cable grommet [9]. It
must be well sealed.
9.5 Final assembly
Before fitting the electronics cover,
check the location of the external
climate sensor's connection cable to
make sure that the mounting of the
internal climate sensor is not
blocked.
NOTICE
Danger of short-circuits and
damage to the unit. Humidity
will penetrate if electronics
cover is not fitted correctly.
Press electronics cover firmly
onto housing such that it is
sealed and flush all the way
around. When doing so, do not
press setting buttons [15] and
[16].
1. Insert electronics cover [6] into housing
recesses
I, II
and
III
, until the 3 locking
tabs snap into place. Press the electronics
cover firmly on to the housing at the points
indicated by the arrows.
