lamps will go out after a few secs., some will continue to remain ON
till the engine is started. When the vehicle is being driven, ignition
switch remains in the ON position.
Do not leave the ignition in ON when the engine is OFF. This
could lead to battery drain and ignition switch damage.

This position is to start the engine by cranking the starter
motor. This is a momentary position. When the key is turned to
start position, the starter cranks the engine. Once the engine is
running, release the key, and the key reverts back to ON position
and the starter motor disengages from the engine.
Do not continue cranking after the engine has started. This will
lead to damage of the starter and other engine components.
If turning the key is difficult, jiggle the steering wheel from side
to side and try again.
The key can be removed only in the LOCK position. When the
key is removed, the steering column lock is activated and the
steering wheel cannot be turned.
Never return the key to the LOCK position or try to remove the
key, when the vehicle is in motion. Removing the key allows the
steering wheel to lock. You will lose the control of the vehicle
and may cause serious accident. Remove the key only when the
vehicle is parked.

When opening the driver’s door after the ignition key is not
removed from lock set, the buzzer will sound to alert you that the
key is not removed. The buzzer will automatically turn off when
closing the door or key is removed. After this, the buzzer will not
sound even though the door is opened again.
