HOOD OPERATION
Locking the Hood
To lock the hood, secure the rubber
hold-down straps on each side of the
hood:
1. With the hood down, set the rubber
strap in position and force the locking
discs into the hood latch.
2. Push inward on the plastic handle to
lock the rubber strap in place.
3. Repeat this procedure on the other
side of the hood.
CAUTION
Be sure the hood is latched securely. If the
latch is not completely engaged, the hood
could open during and cause vehicle
damage.
