1. On the menu bar, click Configure -> Plugins -> MachMotion, then select the Parameters tab.
2. Go to the Subspindle section.
3. Set the Sub Spindle Enabled parameter to Yes.
4. Set the Sub Spindle Accel Time appropriately for your VFD.
5. Set the Sub Spindle Decel Time appropriately for your VFD.
6. Set the Sub Spindle Max RPM appropriately for your machine.
7. Set the Sub Spindle Analog Output Register parameter.
1. Double-click the value field to open a selector window.
2. Select Register for the type field.
3. Select the name of your VFD for the second field.
4. Select VFD_Command_RPM for the third field.
5. Click OK to save your setting.
8. Set the Sub Spindle CCW Output parameter.
1. Double-click the value field to open a selector window.
2. Select I/O for the type field.
3. Select the name of your VFD for the second field.
4. Select IoDeviceReverse for the third field.
5. Click OK to save your setting.
9. Set the Sub Spindle CW Output parameter.
1. Double-click the value field to open a selector window.
2. Select I/O for the type field.
3. Select the name of your VFD for the second field.
4. Select IoDeviceForward for the third field.
5. Click OK to save your setting.
10. Set the Sub Spindle Load Meter Enabled parameter to Yes.
11. Set the Sub Spindle Load Meter Register parameter.
1. Double-click the value field to open a selector window.
2. Select Register for the type field.
3. Select the name of your VFD for the second field.
4. Select Feedback_Load for the third field.
5. Click OK to save your setting.
12. Click Save to save your settings and close the window.
If the subspindle runs backwards, swap the values of the Sub Spindle CCW Output and Sub Spindle CW
Output parameters.
