When used in explosion hazard areas or when pumping flammable liquids, the pump must be
mounted with an upwardly inclined pump outlet to prevent accidental emptying of the container (
→
Fig. 7 a, b, c). If the orientation of the pump outlet does not match, loosen the locknut and slightly
turn the pump tube. Then tighten the locknut again (
→
Fig. 7 d). Alternatively, you can mount a
check valve at the pump outlet.

Tighten screws (

Fig. 8).

Connect pump and container with suitable hoses.
5.2 Electrical connection of three-phase motors

Live mains connection!
Electric shock can kill you.
The electrical connection may only be carried out by trained qualified
personnel. Following regulations must be observed:

All works must only be carried out when the motor is de-
energized. Protection switch must be set to OFF-position.
►
Mains voltage and frequency are as specified on the rating plate
(

Fig. 9).
►
Dimension of the connecting cable must be adjusted to the
nominal current.
►
The insulation of the connecting cable must be adjusted to the
environmental conditions.
