OPERATION
Before using your RoboLuber for the first time, the Battery Pack should be charged for a minimum
of 6 hours. If the Battery Pack is installed in the RoboLuber, remove it by following instructions under
Installing or Removing Battery Pack. Important:
New Battery Packs are shipped in semi-charged
state. Charge your Battery Pack for 6 hours before first use.
The Battery Pack accepts only about 80% of its Maximum Capacity with its first few charge cycles. Full
loading Capacity of the Battery Pack is only reached after 4 - 5 Charges. RoboLuber has a built-in
Trigger-Lock Lever which ensures the grease gun won’t operate accidently. The Trigger-Lock Lever has
to be “flipped-up” to operate the Gun. To start the RoboLuber, simply flip-up the Trigger-Lock Lever and
pull the trigger. Release the trigger to stop. If RoboLuber is operated continuously until the Battery Pack
has almost discharged, allow it to rest for 15 minutes before proceeding with a fresh Battery Pack. As a
Battery Pack approaches the discharged state, you will notice a sharp drop in tool performance. When
the tool is unable to perform the task at hand, it is time to recharge the Battery Pack.
Your RoboLuber has been properly lubricated and is ready for use.
•
Always Prime RoboLuber before using it to Lubricate Grease Points.
•
Always Prime the RoboLuber after each Refill or Grease Cartridge change.
Air pockets in the Cartridge will cause the Grease Gun to lose its prime.
•
To prime, operate RoboLuber until grease flows from the hose. Use Air Release Valve to expel
any Air pockets.
•
RoboLuber has a built-in pressure relief valve that is factory pre-set to relieve pressure above
7,000 PSI (483 Bar).
Caution:
If there is a Clogged or Tight Bearing, Clogged or damaged Grease
Fitting, or a Blocked Lubrication Line, the piston in your RoboLuber will work Feverishly (like a Jack
Hammer rather than of a normal, smooth piston action). It will also make unusual sound because
it exerts undue pressure on the motor. You should
immediately
stop the operation and remedy
the blockage before continuing lubrication with the RoboLuber.
• Do not
continue to hold down trigger if the Grease Gun is stalled. This could Damage the
Mechanism and Motor or even cause a Fire. If you continue pressing the trigger, the excess
grease will flow back into the Barrel.
However, this action is absolutely and strongly not
recommended as it would Damage the Tool.
CLEANING:
To avoid accidents, always disconnect the tool and/or charger from the power supply
before cleaning.
Clean dust and debris from charger and tool vents. Keep tool handles clean, dry and
free of oil or grease. RoboLuber may be cleaned most effectively with compressed dry air.
Always wear
safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.
Ventilation openings and switch must
be kept clean and free of foreign matter. Do not attempt to clean by inserting pointed objects through
opening.
Do Not use any Cleaning Agents or Solvents
(gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint
thinner, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents that
contain ammonia). These Cleaning Agents and Solvents
are harmful to plastics and other insulated
parts and
will damage
RoboLuber. Never use flammable or combustible solvents around tools.
SERVICE / MAINTENANCE: NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE.
Visually inspect for any
Damaged, Loose, or Missing Parts. If the Equipment is Worn or Damaged, remove from Service.
Never
disassemble the Tool, Battery Pack or Charger.
Contact Lumax for damage assessment or Repair.
To maintain product Safety and Reliability, Repairs, Maintenance or Adjustment should be performed by

may create risk of Injury and will void the Warranty.
SERVICEMEN: Caution:
Disconnect Tool and/or Charger from Power Source before Servicing.
