Instrument Operational Test 

Turn  the  instrument  ON  by  pressing  the  ON/ACK  button  for  about  a 
second, and then releasing. 
The  instrument  should  activate  all  the  LCD  segments  and  the  audio. 
Observe the device during this time. If any LCD segments are missing, or 

audio fails to work, the device is in need of repair. Please refer to Figure 1 
below.

The  instrument  then  displays  the  current  revision  level  of  each  board 

installed in the system: main board, internal detector high voltage board, and 
auxiliary communications board. 

      

 

           Figure 2: Hardware Revision Levels 

A revision level of 0 indicates that the board is not installed or detected.
