Using the Auto Email Feature - Appendix #15
Event / Sensor - E-Mail Notification
Navigate to the System Menu, and select the Mail Option.

NOTIFICATION
- Notification must be turned on for Automatic E-mail alerts to be sent.
•
HDD EVENT
- Emails a notification to all active accounts when problems are detected with
the Hard Drive (see the User Manual for Hard Drive Notification setup).
•
ALARM / VIDEO LOSS / MOTION
- Select the type of event for which you wish to trigger
email notification: Alarm, Video Loss or Motion Detection (for each channel).

FREQUENCY
- Set the frequency to receive mails for the duration of the event.
NOTE:
The Notification Email will only alert you to the fact that an event has occurred. No video
or still footage will be sent.
Reading Received Emails
When a specified event occurs on the
system, the following is received in Email.
The E-Mail message indicates:
• The Date and Time that the Event
occurred
• The Event Type.
• The Channel where the event occurred.

: The numbers in the email refer to
internal system information, and are not
indicative of any specific details.
