Troubleshooting

7.3

Updating Node Firmware

Under the recommendation of LORD MicroStrain

Technical Support Engineers, nodes can

be upgraded to the latest available firmware to take advantage of new features or correct

operating issues. Node Commander

version 2.7.0 or greater can be used to update any

mXRS

or LXRS

node or gateway firmware to the most current version. Updates are found

on the LORD MicroStrain

website.

website information.

1. Download the LXRS

Firmware Upgrade file from the LORD MicroStrain

website.

2. Once downloaded, extract the contents of the .zip file into a folder on the computer.

Verify there is a file with a .zhex extension.

3. Launch Node Commander

, and establish communication between the node and

gateway as normal.

4. While holding F1 button on the keyboard, right-click the node name, and a drop-down

menu will appear.
