Face and Glass Removal
A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot viewing glass is provided with this
appliance and shall be installed for the protection of children and other at-risk individuals.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with the manufacturer’s barrier for
this appliance.
The appliance must be completely cool before removing the glass.
Do not strike or slam the glass.

Lift the stove flue cover and stove
top off the stove and place it aside.

Re-Attaching the Glass Frame:
a) Slide the two brackets on the bottom of the glass frame into the glass frame
guides (hold the glass frame at a slight angle.
b) Swing the glass frame into place - you may have to lift it slightly to allow it to fit over the top of the firebox.
c) Attach the upper latches (follow the instructions above in reverse).
d) Replace the stove front and top.
NOTE:
The metal tabs on the stove
front slide over the tabs on the
side castings.
Open the two latches holding the glass frame in
place - follow the directions shown below

Lift the glass frame slightly, swing the top forward, then lift
the glass frame to disengage it from the bottom guides.

Remove the stove front by lifting it
up then forward. Place it aside.
