7.9. Driving Tips
Warning
We recommend that the user wear light or reflective clothing in the dark and / or activate the lighting of the Out Chair (optional)
Once the power has been turned on (§ 7.4), select the Off-road profile.
Warning
The profiles must be activated at a standstill.
The Out Chair can be driven on climbs and descents of 10°. It is prohibited to climb or descend inclines higher than this
percentage. In order to guarantee a safe downhill descent, it is necessary to reduce speed depending on the gradient and to
avoid sudden braking. In order to guarantee a safe climb, reduce speed and do not accelerate too hard.
It is prohibited to cross over a height greater than 15 cm on the Out Chair. Obstacles must be cleared at reduced speed. If
obstacles greater than 15 cm obstruct the path, they must be bypassed. Ground that is too uneven could cause uncontrollable
driving. That’s why you must constantly adjust your speed.
Danger
It is prohibited to drive on a slope (transverse incline) greater than 5°.
7.10. Batteries and Recharging
7.10.1. Batteries
Your electric wheelchair uses long-lasting electrolyte gel batteries that are sealed and require no maintenance. There is
no need to check their electrolyte level. Despite being similar to car batteries, these are different. Car batteries are not
designed for long and deep discharge, and their use in electric chairs could be dangerous.
