5.8 System Settings
The
System Settings
screen allows users to configure several different settings which
include:
Profiles
,
Passwords
,
Language/Time Zone
, and
Notifications
.
5.8.1 Profiles
Do not highlight and save over the INITIAL.DB
configuration. This is the default configuration of the unit
and is used to reset the unit to the factory default settings.
This screen shows all user profiles. There are three selections in this screen:

New
–
Allows the user to create a new profile name.
•
Save
–
Saves the selected profile.
•
Load
–
Loads the selected profile.
The unit will boot with the profile that
has an asterisk (*) next to the name.
The Profiles tab allows users to create, save, and load different profiles with different
configurations. When a profile is loaded using the
Load
icon, the unit will load that
configuration during its boot process.
For example, if the user wants the unit to always boot up with the default Clone mode of
Image to Drive
:

Turn the unit off then back on. This will reset all settings to the loaded profile.
This is an important step to help ensure only the changes desired will be the
changes saved.
