5.3 Jog Mode
In
JOG
mode all machine functions can be manually activated.
FRONT SEAL
function key: When the FRONT SEAL function key is pressed, the Forward
Engage Cylinder will move from its current position to the other position. If the Forward Engage
Cylinder is not extended, pressing this function key will cause the Cylinder to extend. If the
cylinder is extended, pressing this function key will cause the Cylinder to retract. When the
Forward Engage Cylinder moves forward, it will also activate the Vacuum hinged valve in the
base of the Blaze Air. Thus, when the Front Seal is forward, a vacuum will be drawn through the
tube if the blower is on.
BLOWER ON/OFF
function key: Pressing the BLOWER ON/OFF function key will start the
Blower. If the Forward Engage Cylinder is forward, the blower vacuum will be drawn through the
Blaze Air Tube. If the Forward Engage Cylinder is back the blower will circulate the air in the
Blaze Air base. Pressing the BLOWER ON/OFF function key or the STOP function key will turn
the blower off.
UP ARROW
function key: When the UP ARROW function key is pressed, the Blaze Air Tube
will rotate until the opening is in the up position.
DOWN ARROW
function key: When the DOWN ARROW function key is pressed, the Blaze
Air Tube will rotate until the opening is in the up position
Simulated ‘unload’ signal from lathe:
BLOWER ON/OFF
&
ENTER
function keys: Pressing both of these keys at the same time will
cause the Blaze Air to start the unload cycle. This can be used to test the Blaze Air and also to
finish an unload cycle if it was stopped in the middle from a machine fault.
