CORRECT POSITION DURING MEASUREMENT
1. Sit at a table so that during blood pressure
measurement your hand rests on its surface. Be
sure that the cuff is placed approximately at the
level of your heart and that your arm lies freely on
the table and does not move (fi g.3).
2. You can measure the blood pressure lying on the
back (fi g. 4). Look at the ceiling, keep quiet and do
not move during measurement. Be sure that the
cuff is placed approximately at the level of your
heart.
SETTING OF DATE, TIME AND TEMPERATURE
On replacing a backup battery, current date/time data will be reset. Enter correct
date/time data to make it possible to save measurement results along with fi xed
date/time.
Attention
: Note: Blood pressure and pulse may be measured without setting up
date/time data.
This device may be used as a clock with an alarm, calendar and room thermometer
functions (Fig. 5). Set up current date/time data and temperature measurement
unit (i.e. Celsius or Fahrenheit):
1. For switching to setup mode press button “PRESET”.
2. Selecting a year
Blinking year fi gures will be displayed. Press button MEM2
to increment the value of a year and button MEM1 to
decrement the value of a year and set up a current year. Press
button “START” to confi rm the entry and go to the next step.
3. Selecting a month
Press button MEM2 to increment the value of a month and
button MEM1 to decrement the value of a month and set up
a current month.
Press button “START” to confi rm the entry and go to the
next step.
