4. Section of a date
Press button MEM2 to increment the value of a date and button MEM1 to
decrement the value of a date and set up a current date. Press button “START” to
confi rm the entry and go to the next step.
5. Selecting current time
A 24 hour format is used in the clock. Press buttons MEM1 and MEM2 to enter
an hour value. Press button “START” to confi rm the entry. Press button MEM2 to
increment and button MEM1 to decrement the values of a minute and set up a
current minute.
6. Press button “PRESET” to go to the alarm settings. Press button “START” to save
the settings and to leave the preset mode.
7.Selecting an alarm
This device has three individual alarms. An alarm number (01, 02 or 03) is
displayed near to the alarm symbol «
» Press button “PRESET” to change the
alarm value 01 to 02 and the value 02 to 03. Use buttons MEM1 and MEM2 also
to adjust the values selected (i.e. HOURS-MINUTES). For adjustment of minute
values press button “START” to change HOURS to MINUTES.
8. If the values of alarm actuation time are not set up, no fi gures will be displayed
but the symbol of four dashes «
» will blink.
For switching off any preset alarm, select the required alarm and press button
MEM1 holding it for 5 sec.
9. Setting the thermometer
On setting the alarm, press the preset button to select a thermometer
measurement unit. Press button MEM1 to select a °С or °F value.
CUFF PREPARATION
1. Insert the cuff end for about 5 cm into a metal ring
as shown in the fi gure (fi g. 6).
2. Apply the cuff to your left upper arm so that
the air tube is directed to your palm (fi g. 7). If the
measurement on your left arm is diffi
cult, you may
use your right arm. In this case remember that the
readings may diff er by 5-10 mmHg and even more.
