3.7.3 Switch on and cutting
DTS 420 N / DTS 420 PE/N
Operate the switch (Pos. 9)
Switch the star-delta switch to ”Y”.
Wait until the motor has reached a regular revolution (regular noise)
Continue to switch the star-delta switch to
∆
Open the water cock
ATTENTION
A few cooling water leads to a premature wear or damages the saw blade!
No dry cutting!
- Loose the feed lock (Pos. 1)
- Turn the feed crank (Pos. 6) clockwise, until the brick is cut through
* Reduce the feed by the incipient cutting
* Adapt feed force to strain
ATTENTION Saw blade could be blunt (sharpen)!

Crank the saw blade upwards after each cut and engage the feed lock

Danger! - Switch off motor
