7.2. Troubleshooting table
DANGER
Danger of injury due to rotating saw blade!
Death or injury from rotating saw blade.

Maintenance and repairs may only be carried out whilst the machine is disconnected.

Maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by trained personnel.

The machine must be secured to prevent it being switched on by others.

Do not open the protective hood when the saw blade is still rotating
Error Cause Remedy
Motor not running Power cable defective New power cable
Switch defective
May only be rectified by an electrician.
Motor defective
Poor cutting performance Feed speed too high Cut with a lower feed speed
Saw blade is to blunt Resharpen the saw blade with 10-15 cuts with
sand lime stone.
Saw blade worn (covering < 2 mm) Replace saw blade
No water on the saw blade Pipe system is blocked Clean the pipe system
Insufficient cooling water Clean the water screen or rinse the water
supply
The water pump is defect
May only be rectified by an electrician.
NOTICE
Check the following points if the feed force is excessive:

Saw blade blunt or defective?

Not enough water to cool the saw blade?

Correct saw blade selected?

Full capacity and speed from motor?
