5.2.
Start preparations
The following conditions must be met for the safe and proper use of the masonry saw:
•
The masonry saw stands securely on its table legs
•
The wheel set is disassembled or set up in the highest position
•
The masonry saw was checked for damage, loose screw connections and the completeness of the
attachments
•
The water basin is filled with clear water
•
The water cooling system is complete and functional
•
A suitable saw blade, which meets the optimum conditions, is mounted
5.3.
Cutting with the masonry saw
WARNING
The start preparations must be fulfilled
The machine may only be started when all the start preparations
(see chapter
preparations (Start preparations) have been completed.
The operation of the machine is prohibited if the start preparations are not complete
A dry cut without water is prohibited.
•
Place the cut material on the cutting table and set the adjustable lateral stop.
•
Switch on the masonry saw via the ON switch
•
Adjust the water quantity on the blade guard via the control valve
•
Push the cut material slowly against the saw blade only after the full power consumption is reached
NOTICE
Extremely dirty water reduces the service life of the pump and the saw blade
For frequent use, repeatedly change water several times a day and remove saw sludge.
Clean also the suction strainer of the pump with every water change.
