Drive belts
DANGER
Removing and opening of the blade guard
Death or injury from rotating saw blade.
Do not remove or open the blade guard or reach to the saw blade whilst it is cutting.
This work may only be carried out when the saw blade is at a standstill and the drive motor has been
switched off.
NOTICE
Impact caused by incorrect drive-belts tension
Drive belts too loose:
Drive belts slip on the V-belt pulley, no transmission or poor force transmission
Drive belts are tensioned too much:
Excessive wear, excessive heating of the V-belt pulleys with secondary failures.
Disassembly
Blade guard
Remove the front sheet metal cover of the blade guard
Remove the flange nut (left-handed thread) by using the universal tool
Remove the thrust washer and the saw blade and put aside

Remove all connecting screws (Item 1) and put blade guard aside
Inspection
The drive belts can be controlled by pressing with the thumb.
Control by pressure test with the thumb
Installation and removal
or replacement of the
drive belts
The clamp screw (Item 2) can be loosened or tensioned by unscrewing the securing screws on the
drive motor
Setting of the saw blade
The saw blade can be set parallel to the cutting table by adjusting the level screw (Item 3)
