Replacing accessory flange O-ring
1.
Identify the accessory flange O-ring, lift it from its groove, and discard, Figure 1.
2.
Position and press the new O-ring (FT00074) into the groove.

Your pump may be equipped with a bypass valve, an accessory flange block off plate (aka Cover Plate), or a
different accessory. The Cover Plate is shown in this manual. Your specific accessory may have different
installation instructions
– if provided, follow the directions in the specific accessory manual.
4.
Using a 6 mm hex bit socket, install and tighten the eight M8 x 20 mm hex socket head cap screws to a torque
value of 165 in-lbs (15 ft-lb, 19.8 Nm), Figure 3. See Figure 4 for the tightening sequence of the flange cover
screws.
• Lubricate O-ring with Dow Corning Molykote
®
111 lubricant.
• Apply Loctite
®

thread locker to clean screw threads before installation.
