Firing The missile
O
nce the boom and firing arm are in place, the missile can be placed into position. See
Figure 15. Make sure that the slots in the missile’s tail section fit into the firing arm. The
boom should still be in the horizontal position at this point. Swivel the platform towards the
desired target. (The Lionel Exploding Boxcar is an ideal target). Push down the launch button.
The boom and missile will slowly raise to its firing trajectory and launch!
Pull the firing arm back until it locks,
place the missile into the firing arm
and push the launch button.
