Multicast Tab - Bridge Multicast
The Bridge Multicast screen displays the ports and LAGs attached to the Multicast service group in the Ports and
LAGs tables. The Port and LAG tables also reflect the manner in which the port or LAGs joined the Multicast group.
Ports can be added either to existing groups or to new Multicast service groups. The Bridge Multicast screen
permits new Multicast service groups to be created. The Bridge Multicast screen also assigns ports to a specific
Multicast service address group.
The Bridge Multicast screen is divided into two areas, Configuring Multicast and Multicast Table. The fields are
the same for both areas.
VLAN ID.
Identifies a VLAN to be configured to a Multicast service.
Bridge Multicast Address.
Identifies the Multicast group MAC address/IP address.
Bridge IP Multicast.
DIsplays the port that can be added to a Multicast service.
LAG.
Displays LAG that can be added to a Multicast service.
The configuration options are as follows:

Static.
Indicates the port is user-defined.
•
Dynamic.
Indicates the port is configured dynamically.
•
Forbidden.
Forbidden ports are not included the Multicast group, even if IGMP snooping designated the
port to join a Multicast group.
•
None.
The port is not configured for Multicast service.
The
Add to List
button adds the configured RMON event to the Event Table at the bottom of the screen.
