Pre-‐Operating Instructions
: Connecting
Nozzles
CAUTION:
•
Do NOT attempt to change nozzle while unit is operating. Turn OFF
engine before changing nozzle.
•
Ensure all nozzles are properly and securely connected before
operating unit.
•
Ensure the source of water for the pressure washer is NOT
contaminated. Use of contaminated water will clog nozzle and cause
failure of the unit.
NOTE: ENGINE SHOULD NOT BE OPERATING DURING THE NOZZLE INSTALLATION
PROCESS.
NOZZLE INSTALLATION:
1.
Determine nozzle to be used from provided Quick Tip Nozzles.
a.
0
° (Red) Nozzle
– Delivers a powerful pinpoint stream for intense
cleaning of small areas. This nozzle should only be used on a surface
that can withstand the high pressure supplied by this nozzle, such as
metal or concrete.
b.

° (Yellow) Nozzle
– Delivers a powerful 15° spray pattern for
intense cleaning of small areas. This nozzle should only be used on a
surface that can withstand the high pressure supplied by this nozzle.
c.
25
° (Green) Nozzle
– Delivers a powerful 25° spray pattern for
intense cleaning of larger areas. This nozzle should only be used a
surface that can withstand the high pressure supplied by this nozzle.
d.
40
° (White) Nozzle
– Delivers a less-‐powerful 40° spray pattern for a
wide area of cleaning. This nozzle should be used for most general
cleaning jobs.
e.
Spray (Black) Nozzle
– This nozzle is used to apply chemicals or cleaning
solutions. It has the least powerful spray pattern. This nozzle should be
used in unison with the provided chemical injector hose with chemicals.
2.
Connect nozzle by inserting into tip of Spray Gun and pressing until it is locked in.
(Refer to diagram below.)
3.
To disconnect nozzle, slide brass fitting toward trigger of Spray Gun and pull
nozzle out.
