Knowing Performance and Safety Guidelines
Body Worn Operation
This device was tested for typical body-worn
operations (for example, wearing the phone in your
shirt or pants pocket during headset or earphone
use). To comply with FCC RF exposure guidelines, a
minimum separation distance of
1 inch (2.5 cm) must be maintained between the
user's body and the phone, including the antenna.
The use of other belt-clips/holsters, provided they
have no metallic components, that maintain the
minimum separation distance of
1 inch (2.5 cm) can be used to satisfy FCC RF
exposure guidelines. The use of non-tested
accessories or other body-worn operations may not
comply with FCC RF exposure guidelines and should
be avoided. Use the Sprint PCS-approved accessories
that maintain the 1 inch (2.5 cm) separation.
Contact your local Sprint PCS dealer for optional
accessory items.
Cautions
Any changes or modifications to your phone not
expressly approved in this document could void your
warranty for this equipment and void your authority
to operate this equipment. Only use approved
batteries, antennas and chargers. The use of any
unauthorized accessories may be dangerous and
voids the phone warranty if said accessories cause
damage or a defect to the phone.
Although your phone is quite sturdy, it is a complex
piece of equipment and can be broken. Avoid
dropping, hitting, bending or sitting on it.
