Experiencing the Sprint PCS Wireless Web
To access a bookmark:
1.
Use the right arrow key to highlight the softkey
and press
(alternatively, you may select
"Bookmarks" from the home page).
2.
Use the up and down arrow keys to highlight the
desired bookmark. If you have many bookmarks,
you may have to look beyond the first page
of bookmarks.
3.
Press
to select the highlighted
bookmark. The browser attempts to access the
marked page.
Tip:
From the Sprint PCS
Wireless Web
home page, you can
access a bookmark
by pressing and
holding the key
associated with
the number of the
desired bookmark.
Note that this method
works only for the
first 9 bookmarks.
Note:
When using
‘Go To...,’ it is not
necessary to enter
“http://” before the
site name. Only
HDML sites are
accessible.
Bookmarks
Bookmarks allow you to store the address of favorite
web pages for easy access at a later time. Note that
marking a page doesn't store the page contents, just
its address.
To create a bookmark:
1.
Go to the web page you want to mark.
2.
Use the right arrow key to highlight the
Mark
softkey, and press
. A screen appears
prompting you to enter a name for the
bookmark.
3.
Use the name that appears or change it and select
Save
. A message appears confirming the
bookmark was created. The bookmark is placed
in the first empty slot of the bookmarks list.
When you're done, the browser will return to the
web page that you just marked.
