INTERCOM CALL ON HOLD
Description
A digital keyset station user can place an
intercom call in a waiting state (on hold) using
the
[HOLD/SAVE]
button or the
[ICM]
button.
The call can be retrieved only at the station that
placed the intercom call on hold.
Operation
To place an ICM call on hold,
Press the
[HOLD/SAVE]
button or the
[ICM]
button.
To retrieve a held ICM call,
Press the
[ICM]
button, or if assigned, the DSS
button associated with the held station.
Condition
1. To hold intercom call, the station should have
[ICM] button. To assign the {ICM} button at a
flexible button.
[TRANS/PGM] + Flex. BTN + [TRANS/PGM] +
8 3 + [HOLD/SAVE]
2. The station which is in holding state will
receive MOH.

ICM I-Hold Recall Timer (PGM 180-BTN 5)
INTERCOM LOCK-OUT
Description
When a station goes off-hook and does not
initiate dialing during the Dial-tone Time or, if the
duration between dialed digits exceeds the Inter-
digit Timer, the station will receive error tone and
the call attempt will be abandoned. In order to
complete the call, the user should return to an
on-hook state and re-start the call attempt.

INTERCOM SERIAL CALLING
Description
With DSS flexible buttons, users can place
consecutive ICM calls without the need for
regaining intercom dial tone (no need to hang-
up) between calls. The user can simply press
the appropriate DSS flexible button.
Operation
To use serial calling,
Press the appropriate DSS flexible button, the old
call is disconnected and the new call will be
established.
INTERCOM SIGNAL MODE
Description
Each keyset can select the signaling mode for
incoming intercom calls. Keysets equipped with
the speakerphone can select one from the 3
signaling modes as below;
HF - Call announcing with handsfree answer-back
User can answer a call automatically without lifting
handset or pressing the
[MON]
button.
TN - Tone ringing
User should lift the handset or press
[MON]
button to answer.
PV - Call announcing with privacy
User can answer a call automatically without
lifting handset or pressing
[MON]
button. But,
the calling party cannot hear the voice of the
called party. To talk, the called party should lift
the handset.
Operation
To assign the Intercom Signal mode from a
keyset,
1. Press the
[TRANS/PGM]
button.
2. Dial
1 2
and confirmation tone is heard.
3. Dial the signal mode type (1 = HF/2 =TN/3 = PV).
4. Press the
[HOLD/SAVE]
button and
