Storing an extra print cartridge
The cartridge storage unit on the back of the machine provides a
convenient place to store an extra (used) print cartridge to prevent it
from drying out.
If you have not already installed the cartridge storage unit, follow the
instructions below.

Insert the tabs of the print cartridge storage unit into the slots
on the back of your printer.

Snap the storage unit securely into place.
3
Insert the extra print cartridge into the print cartridge storage
unit.
4
Push back firmly on the cartridge until it snaps securely into
place.
