MIDI Bypass
Reflex can learn a MIDI message which
will then function as a press of the Bypass
footswitch. Program Change, Continuous
controller, or Note Number can be learned.
To have the Bypass footswitch learn a MIDI
message:
1. Turn on Bypass with an appropriate
footswitch. The display will show "bP."
2. Press and hold down the PARAMETER/
LEARN button. While holding the button
down, send the MIDI message you want
to use to enable Bypass. You can do this
by sending any Program Change or MIDI
Note message, or by moving any active
MIDI controller.
3. Release the PARAMETER/LEARN but-
ton.
If you have a footswitch which can send
"redundant" Program Change 1 messages,
you can now use this learned message, or
the footswitch, to toggle Bypass on or off.
To disable a learned MIDI Bypass mes-
sage:
1. Turn on Bypass with the footswitch or a
learned MIDI message. The display will
show "bP."
2. Press and hold down the PARAMETER/
LEARN button. While holding the button
down, use the footswitch to turn off By-
pass. (Be careful not to send any MIDI
messages to Reflex while PARAMETER/
LEARN is pressed.)
3. Release the PARAMETER/LEARN but-
ton.
