Disconnect Motor Connectors.

If the control box is mounted to the mixing valve,
remove it along with the mounting bracket. Place in a
safe location without putting tension on sensor wires.
3.
Remove the aluminum guarding and cover screws
from cover assembly.
4.
Remove complete cover assembly. Do not remove
motor assembly at this time.
5.
Turn the cover assembly on its side. While securing the
hex-coupling under the motor mounting plate, remove
the nut, lock washer and shuttle from the control
stem.
6.
Inspect the shuttle and clean any sediment or debris
that has built up. Replace O-ring if necessary.
7.
Inspect and clean all surfaces of the cover. Replace
cover O-rings if necessary.
7A. If a new Teflon® gasket is required, remove the locking
disk (special tool required) and then the damaged gasket.
Press the replacement disk into the groove evenly.
NOTE: For best results, remove motor assembly from cover
by unthreading the 4 bolts on top of the assembly
