Resolver
The stator-supplied, 2-pole resolver with two stator windings shifted by 90 degrees and a
rotor winding with a transformer winding can record both the speed and the rotor position,
just like a single-turn absolute value encoder. The rotor position can be determined within one
mechanical motor revolution after a voltage failure.
