9. Insert the two tabs 1 on the storage drive bracket into the corresponding holes in the chassis. Then,
pivot the storage drive bracket downward until it snaps into position.

Replacing the computer cover
Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 “Read this first: Important safety information” on page 1.
To replace the computer cover, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the back cover. See “Removing the back cover” on page 90.
3. Locate the computer cover. See “Major FRUs and CRUs” on page 31.
