Top Carrier Removal
NOTE
The Top Carrier can be recovered
and reused after removal.
1.
Use the Torx Driver and T3 Bit to remove
the 7 Machine Screws from the Top
Carrier in the locations shown.
NOTE
After you remove the Machine Screws,
you cannot reuse them.
2.
Use the flat end of the Blackstick in the
location shown to detach the Top Carrier
from the Main PCB.
3.
Use your fingers to lift the Top Carrier
from the Main PCB.
NOTE
Use care when lifting the Top Carrier from the
Main PCB to avoid damaging the connected
Proximity Sensor Flex.
