Display Removal Method A

Place the phone in the Heating Plate, with
the Display side down.
4.
Wait 10 minutes for the Display adhesive to
warm up.
5.
Remove the phone from the Heating Plate
or the oven.
// CAUTION //
Wear protective gloves when handling heated
phones.
NOTE
Perform the Display removal procedure before
the phone starts to cool off.

Use your fingers to slide the phone into the
Moto 8
th
Generation Display Removal Fixture
as shown.
NOTE
Begin this step after removal from the Hot Plate or
oven, before the phone starts to cool off.
2.
Slide the phone into the Display/Inlay
Removal Fixture in the orientation shown.
Center the phone in the Fixture.
3.
Use your fingers to slide the rail into the
SIM/SD Card Slot and guide holes to lock the
phone into place.
