4. Align the three plastic tabs on the right side of the new front bezel with the corresponding holes in the
chassis. Then pivot the front bezel inwards until it snaps into position on the left side.

Replacing the power button board
Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 “Read this first: Important safety information” on page 1.
To replace the power button board, do the following:
1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect
all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 82.
3. Remove the front bezel. See “Replacing the front bezel” on page 83.
4. Locate the power button board. See “Computer components” on page 31.
5. Disconnect the power button board cable from the system board.
