High temperature sensed at outdoor coil.

General Note:

When outdoor pipe temperature is more than 149°F (65°C), the unit will stop, and unit runs again when outdoor pipe

temperature is less than 125.6°F (52°C).

Repair/replace wiring as

per wiring diagram.

Check the resistance

value of the outdoor

temperature sensor is

Appendix 1.

Replace the temperature

sensor.

Check whether the outdoor ambi

ent temperature is higher than

122°F (50°C).

Switch unit off until ambient tem

perature is within normal operating

parameters.

Is there sufficient airflow across

outdoor unit coils?

Remove obstruction or increase

ventilation path/airflow.

Remove remaining refrigerant

charge, pressure test and locate

leak. Add correct charge. Test

system. If system fails to operate

correctly replace outdoor board.

Replace the outdoor main board.

Are the outdoor unit fans operat

ing correctly?

Refer to the fault code fan speed

malfunction (E8).

Are the outdoor unit coils clean?

Clean the outdoor coil thoroughly.

Confirm if system has the correct
