For the adjustment of the swivel mechanic of the RAPID Wire and RAPID Highspeed
printhead, it is recommended using a feeler gauge. The distance between the nozzle plate
and the charging electrode has to be
0,1 mm
.
Use a feeler gauge with a 0,1 mm blade.
The feeler gauge will be available in our
accessories catalogue.
Bring the printhead in adjustment position and
switch off the ink jet.
Insert the 0,1 mm blade between the drop
creating unit and the charging electrode.
Optimal adjustment:
It should be easily possible to insert the blade
of the feeling gauge free from play. The
swivel mechanic should work without
touching the block of the charging electrode.

After adjusting the drop production unit refasten, the screws and check the position of the
ink jet.
