DPL (
Washing Machine Control). The DPL is designed for washing machines that do not allow
the door to be opened when there is no power applied to the washing machine. A problem can
occur if the user leaves the laundry room and does not return until after power has been
disconnected by the Wyvern 2000REM. To overcome this situation the coin timer re-applies
power for one minute to allow the door to be opened when the EM button is pressed. If the user
is present at all times and opens the door before the Wyvern 2000REM disconnects power then
the pushbutton is ignored until another coin time has been initiated. The EM button is ignored if
pressed during a timing cycle or if the display shows zero. If coins are inserted before the EM
button is pressed then a complete washing cycle is initiated.
Sequence
Start timing sequence with coins or smart card.
Select washing program. At end of time period with power disconnected the display flashes
“door”. User presses EM button, power is re-applied for one minute allowing door to be opened.
During this time the display flashes “L” and any coins are rejected.
After one minute display reverts to zero ready for next cycle.
