This handbook contains information on the installation, use and maintenance of the foam sprayer.
You are recommended to read the handbook thoroughly, as it provides important information and warnings
concerning the safety of the foam sprayer.
FIELD OF USE
2 types of low pressure foam sprayers are manufactured:
-
Foam sprayers with a carbon steel tank for industrial use that spray water or water solutions of detergent
liquids.
-
Foam sprayers with stainless steel tank that spray water solutions of detergent liquids and that can be used
even in the foodstuff sector.

OPERATIONAL DIAGRAM AND WARNINGS:
-
Connect the hose of the dispensing nozzle (fig.38 A) to the hose fitting (fig.19).
1)
FILLING-UP THE TANK WITH THE PRODUCT
The tank is filled with the product to be sprayed via the filling cap (fig.10).
Before you open the cap:
-
Look at the gauge (fig.16) and ensure the tank is not pressurised, otherwise open the slider tap (fig.6) and
release all the air from inside the tank;
-
Unscrew the filling cap (fig.10) and pour the product to be sprayed in through the funnel (fig.9), being
careful not to pour in
MORE THAN 2/3 OF THE TANK’S CAPACITY
(check the height of the level
on the external hose [fig.18]);
-
Screw the cap firmly back in place (fig.10).
3) PRESSURIZING THE TANK/SPRAYING THE PRODUCT
-
Connect the compressed air line to the tap (fig.11/A); turn the red knob of the pressure regulator to set the
pressure between 5 and 6 bar.
-
Remember that the equipment must always be connected to the compressed air line during use.
-
When the foam sprayer reaches the correct pressure (5-6 bar), open the dispensing tap (fig.19) and operate
the sprayer (just liquid will be dispensed at this stage).
-
At this stage, open the other dispenser tap (fig.6 A).
-
Press the lever on the handle (fig.22 ) and turn the 2 taps until the desired foam effect is obtained.
-
If the tank still contains some product but there is not enough pressure to spray it, repeat point 2 again.
-
If the product inside the tank runs out, repeat the procedures of point 1 again.
-
The foam sprayer are equipped with a safety valve that is set at 8 bar (fig.7), which has the task of
releasing the pressure if the compressed air loaded in the tank exceeds 8 bar.
