Table 44: High-temperature thermostat
Fault
Possible remedy
Alarm Cool Flow in the display
n
Cooling water temperature is higher than 80°C and for
longer than 8 seconds.
n
Cooling water temperature is higher than 85 °C.
Warning HT valve too hot in the display
n
Temperature on high-temperature valve is higher than
120 °C and for longer than 8 seconds.
n
Temperature on high-temperature valve is higher than
140 °C.
Consequence: Irreversible damage to the high-temperature
valve
Possible cause
n
Pressure fluctuations of the cooling water
n
Accidental disconnection of the cooling water by third
parties
n
Blockage of high-temperature valve
n
Breakage of the piping on the device side for the
cooling water
n
Turn water connection on full
ð
Restore a correct
cooling water supply.
n
In the event of a blockage of the high-temperature
valve, inform the LAUDA Service
Device switches to degas mode
transfer liquid (low boiling point expulsion)” on page 75.
Possible cause:
n
Cooling water enters the hydraulic circuit through a
defective heat exchanger.
However, it is to be noted: If necessary, the device carries
out "automatic degassing”. This automatic process is no
fault.
n
Notify the LAUDA Service
LAUDA” on page 160 department.
n
Ensure the suitable cooling water quality
4.5 “Cooling water requirements” on page 42. Other-
wise there is a risk of corrosion!
