Remote Port
Enter the port number of the remote device.
Remote Host
Enter the IP address of the remote device.
Change Address Table
Field enabled when Datagram Type is set to
FD
. Enter values
between 1-255 to identify units on the local network of device
servers.
WLAN Configuration
Without adequate protection, a wireless LAN is susceptible to access by
unauthorized users. As such, WiBox includes the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)
encryption standard as an additional means of security.
To configure the WiBox’s WLAN settings:
1. Select
WLAN
from the main menu to open the WLAN Settings window.

2. Enter or modify the following fields:
Network Interface
Field is set to WLAN.
Network Name
Enter the name of the network where the WiBox is located.
Ad Hoc Settings
Ad Hoc Network
Creation
Select the checkbox when using a client (such as a wireless
card) to communicate with the WiBox instead of an Access
Point.
