Manage Control Unit
This part provides the information of the control unit, and also you cou
ld reboot the unit by “Reset Control
Unit” or reset all configuration to factory default by “Restore Factory Default”.
This wizard takes you through the process of firmware upgrade. A sample screenshot of Firmware Update
Page is shown below.
Warning
: Please note that after entering update mode widgets, other web pages and services will
not work. All open widgets will be closed automatically. If upgrade process is canceled in the middle
of the wizard, the device will be reset.
Note
:The firmware upgrade process is a crucial operation. Make sure that the chances of a power
or connectivity loss are minimal when performing this operation. Once you enter into Update Mode
and choose to cancel the firmware flash operation, the BMC must be reset. This means that you
must close the Internet browser and log back onto the BMC before you can perform any other types of
operations. Once Firmware upgrade using web is started, the regular IPMI command will not be allowed for
safety concern.
