3-13 WARNING LIGHTS INSTALLATION
3-13.1
Assemble lights to the light bracket us-
ing 1/4 X 1-3/4 capscrews and nuts. Insure
the wires are in the groove in the base of the
light toward the mounting surface of the
bracket. Assemble one light for left side and
one for right side. The red light should be to
the rear with the amber light being the outer
most light.
3-13.2
Install the assembled lights on the out-
side of the frame just forward of the rear disc
adjust plates.
(See Figure 3-14).
IMPORTANT
MAKE SURE LIGHTS ARE POSITIONED FOR
MAXIMUM VISIBILITY FROM THE REAR.
3-13.3
Install the rear wiring harness between
the lights.
3-13.4
Assemble the harness extension to the
center plug on the rear harness.
3-13.5
Install the main harness by starting at
the hitch and routing the harness through the
hose loops to the extension harness. See
wiring diagram as shown in
Figure 3-15.
3-13.6
Insure the harnesses are clear of any
moving parts and secure the harnesses with
tie wraps provided.
3-14 LUBRICATION
The Weatherproofer must be lubricated before
using it for the first time, and at regular intervals
thereafter. Use a standard multi-purpose grease.
(See Section 4-6)
