Setting up
The ground at the location should be horizontal and level. Level
out any unevenness using the adjustable feet. The back of the
appliance can be placed directly against the wall. Ensure good
ventilation!
Dismountable version
The LU 11000
©
Premium is supplied unassembled due to its
height. The appliance is then set up on site on a level floor
(work very precisely and cleanly!).
Important:
A silicone joint should be made on the dismount-
able appliance at the connection between the wall element
and floor element on the ground using a transparent food-safe
silicone (included in scope of delivery).
Cooling machines – assembly with ceiling cooling:
Always have two people put the machine in the designated cut-
out in the ceiling so that the controller points forwards in the
direction of the doors; set the machine down – that’s it! Further
fixing using screws etc. is not necessary.
Cooling machines – assembly with side wall cooling:
Always use two people to assemble the machine. Turn the
supplied threaded bolts approx. 1-2 cm into the machine, then
carefully fix the machine together with the bolts to the wall and
attach it from the inside with washers and nuts. You can find
details of this on page 14.
The appliance is now ready for operation. Insert the mains plug
into an earthed socket (220 V, 16 amps, fused). Note: the elec-
tronic compressor control switches on the compressor itself
after the switch-on delay of 5 minutes.
Alignment
Move the appliance at the installa-
tion site to its final position.
Level out any unevenness on the
ground with the adjustable feet.
IMPORTANT
The appliance must be aligned horizontally and
vertically. If the appliance is at an angle, the body of
the appliance may be deformed and the door does
not shut correctly.
WARNING
The adjustable feet are adjustable in height
from 83 mm to 120 mm. Do not adjust the adjust-
able foot above a height of 130 mm! The lower
part of the adjustable foot may loosen and tip
the appliance over. This can lead to serious
or fatal injuries.

Setting the temperature
The cooling system is equipped with an electronic control
system which can display the target and actual temperature.
After reaching the pre-selected temperature, the cooling unit
switches off and only the recirculation fan in the refrigerator
continues to run.
The appliance can also be plugged in only as required with
non-permanent operation and then ensures that the set tem-
perature is achieved in a short amount of time with a suitable
room size.
The required temperature can be conveniently set on the elec-
tronic controller.
Recommended temperatures
Roe deer / fallow deer / red deer:
+1 °C to +4 °C
Wild boars:
+1 °C to +2 °C
Brown hares / rabbits:
+1 °C to +4 °C
In general the following applies:
max. recommended storage temperature is
10 days at +1 °C.
Altering the setpoint
Hold down the
key to display the setpoint. Hold down the
key to alter the setpoint and also set the desired value with
the keys
or
. The desired setpoint is saved once you
release the
key.
Key lock
A key lock can be programmed to prevent unauthorised ac-
cess. To do this, press the key
several times in succession
until
LOC
appears in the display. Then hold down the key
and use one of the two arrow keys
or
to change from
NO
to
YES
. The key lock is active once you have released the
key and the setpoint can no longer be altered. Change the
value to
NO
again to deactivate the key lock.
Defrosting
The refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically. The
moisture that accumulates is fed into an evaporator tray via
the condensation drain integrated in the machine. The conden-
sation evaporates there due to the compressor heat.
Please note for large amounts of condensation: there is a con-
densation overflow pipe at the front of the cooling unit. This
connection is used (unscrew screw at the front) if the con-
densation evaporator tray in the appliance is overflowing. An
on-site drain (for example, plastic tube) can then be connected
to this pipe to drain off the condensation.
Decommissioning
When the appliance is taken out of operation for a prolonged
period: switch off the appliance, disconnect the power plug
from the mains or trip/unscrew the upstream fuses. Clean
the appliance and leave the door open to avoid a build-up of
odours.
The appliance meets the relevant safety regulations and EC
directives 2004/108/EC and 2006/95/EC.
Security lock
The lock is equipped with a safety mechanism.
Locking the appliance
1. Push the key in in direction 1.
2. Rotate the key by 180°.

ance again.
