CARE AND STORAGE
Operation:
-20 to +40°C/-5°F to +105°F
less than 90% RH at 35°C (no condensation)
Storage:
-30 to +70°C/-20°F to +160°F
If the
FTI 6
is to be used in direct sunlight or in inclement weather conditions,
the environmental enclosure should be used for added protection.
The water-cooled plate must be use with the
FTI 6
for additional cooling when
operating in ambient temperatures in excess of 40°C/105°F, or when the
FTI 6
is exposed to high levels of radiant heat.
When the
FTI 6
is used in a dusty atmosphere, or one containing liquid droplets,
the air purge should be used.
CAUTION
Do not use the
FTI 6
in an atmosphere containing corrosive dust or
mists.
The body of the
FTI 6
can be cleaned by wiping it with a clean cloth moistened
with either water or a neutral detergent. Lenses can be cleaned by wiping
them with a lens tissue. For stubborn dirt on the lenses, a lens cleaner may be
used if desired. Do not use alcohol, chemicals or abrasive cleaning products.
