RTA Park Stand Operation
The park stand (#2) should be secured in holder (#4) as
shown in Figure 2-3 when tiller is hitched to a tractor.
Rotate park stand (#2) down to hole “A” as shown in
Figure 2-4 before unhooking tiller from a tractor.
Set Stand For Transporting
Always set park stand in transport position before
traveling with tiller hitched to a tractor:
Refer to Figure 2-4:
1. Remove hairpin cotter (#3) from stand (#2).
2. Pull stand (#2) from hole “A” and rotate stand up to
align with hole in holder (#4).
Refer to Figure 2-3:
3. Push upper end of stand (#2) into holder (#4) and
secure with existing hairpin cotter (#3).
Set Stand Park Stand For Storage
WARNING
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
An unsupported parked tiller can tip over. Always use park
stand and/or support blocks to prevent it from tipping over
Adjust park stand to storage position before unhooking
tiller from a tractor as follows:
Refer to Figure 2-3:
1. Remove hairpin cotter (#3).
2. Pull stand (#2) from holder (#4) and rotate stand
down to align with hole “A”.
Refer to Figure 2-4:
3. Push upper end of stand (#2) into hole “A” and secure
with existing hairpin cotter (#3).
IMPORTANT:
To prevent damaging the park stand,
always store the stand in its transport position before
