4.2. Space requirements

The Lämpöässä heat pump can be positioned anywhere in a technical or utility room. The heat pump does not require 
much more floor space than its external dimensions. All  Lämpöässä geothermal heat pumps are 1.9 metres in height. 
Approximately 0.4 metres of space must be reserved for the assemblies on top of the heat pump. This should be taken into 
account when placing the heat pump in a low room, such as a basement.

The Lämpöässä geothermal heat pump should be installed in a warm, insulated space which has a floor drain, because 
some ground loop fluid may be splashed on the floor when the ground loop is filled. The chosen area does not need to 
be fireproof.
