8. Troubleshooting
When an error occurs with the CD media or with one of the drives, the Dupli 125 will emit a
continuous series of long beeps. When an error occurs, the discs will not be ejected
automatically, and the beeping will not stop until your press the tray open button of the drive
presenting the error. If you encounter en error during a test duplication or an actual
duplication, we recommend turning off the Dupli 125 to reset it and attempting the duplication
process again. Should you experience the problem again, refer to the section below to
troubleshoot the error.

• The master CD may not be

• Try duplicating again.
ERROR TARGET XX
During the duplication process, an
error has occurred with a target CD-
RW drive or disc. “XX” refers to the
iXT slot ID of the drive, i.e. 04 for
CD-RW drive 4.
• The target disc may be
incompatible or damaged.
• Check that the target disc is
compatible and is not
damaged.
• Try duplicating again with a
new CD-R/RW media.

Indicates internal ATAPI code error

MASTER ANALYZE
An error has occurred while the
master disc is being analyzed.
• The master CD may not be
compatible with the Dupli 125, may
be defective or may be copy-
protected.
• Check that the master CD is
compatible with the
Dupli 125, is not damaged
and is not copy-protected.
• Try duplicating again.
VERIFY ERROR
An error has occurred during a verify
operation.
• Data may have been written
incorrectly to the target disc or the
master and target disc may not
match.
• You may be trying to verify CD-DA,
CD-ROM XA Form 2 or CD-EXTRA
media.
• Make sure the master and
all target discs match and
contain the same material.
• Test the target media on
another drive.
• Check the disc format. CD-
DA, CD-ROM XA Form 2 and
CD-EXTRA cannot be
verified. Use the Read Check
procedure instead.
• Try duplicating again.
DISC TYPE
• The master disc format may not be
compatible with the Dupli 125.
• The master disc may be copy-
protected.
• Check that the master CD is
compatible with the
Dupli 125, is not damaged
and is not copy-protected.
If the master is copy-
protected or incompatible,
you cannot duplicate it.
