4.1.3 Session mode parameter
Session mode / LCD message
Description
>> AUTO ?
This is the default setting. The CDs will be duplicated
in accordance with the Master CD.
>> CLOSE ?
Choosing this option closes the session after copying,
meaning that the disc can no longer be written to.
>> OPEN ?
Choosing this option keeps the session open after
copying, meaning that you can write to this disc again if
desired.
Some CD or DVD drives and players do not support multi-session CDs or
multi-session CDs with an open final session. You may not be able to use
media burned on the Dupli using the open session option on such players or
drives. Refer to your drive’s or player’s documentation for more information.
4.2 Various duplication/verification scenarios
This section will take you step-by-step through the following scenarios for using the
Dupli 125.
• Copying a master CD to target CDs
• Copying a master CD to target CDs with Verify and Read Check options
• Verifying/read checking copied CDs
• Copying a master CD to target CDs + changing the write speed
• Copying a master CD to target CDs + changing the session mode
• Copying a master CD to target CDs + changing the write speed + changing the session
mode
4.2.1 Copying a master CD to target CDs
This is the Dupli 125’s default duplication operation, using the maximum write speed and
closed session options. Therefore, the discs will be written at the maximum possible speed,
and will be closed for further writing.
