As
an
option,
the
applicator
can
be
equipped
to
either
monitor
the
End
of
Web,
or
Web
Break,
but
not
both.
This
detector
requires
no
set
‐
up
and
is
mounted
adjacent
to
the
web
path.
When
the
detector
detects
the
absence
of
the
web,
the
alarm
occurs.
The
single
standard
alarm
light
will
also
blink
slowly
if
the
printer
power
switch
is
OFF
(0)
whenever
the
main
power
switch
is
ON
(I),
and
the
machine
is
ONLINE.
The
single
standard
alarm
light
will
stop
blinking
when
the
printer
power
switch
is
turned
ON
(I)
and
then
the
machine
is
placed
0
FFLIN
E
and
then
back
ONLINE.
The
[ESC]
button
serves
as
the
reset
switch
for
the
Low
Label,
Low
Ribbon,
End
of
Web,
and
Web
Break
alarms.
LOW LABEL DETECTOR
The
low
label
detector
is
a
photoelectric
sensor
which
triggers
the
alarm
light
when
the
supply
of
labels
is
almost
exhausted.
Use
the
following
procedure
to
check
the
function
of
the
Low
Label
Detector.
1.
Place
the
machine
ONLINE.
NOTE:
The
alarm
light
will
not
function
with
the
machine
OFFLINE.
2.
Push
the
dancer
arm
toward
the
printer
and
rotate
the
unwind
roll
of
labels
until
the
slot
in
the
inner
unwind
disk
is
directly
in
front
of
the
low
label
detector.
3.
Remove
the
outer
unwind
disk
and
slide
the
full
roll
of
labels
away
from
the
inner
unwind
disk.
4.
If
the
low
label
alarm
detector
sensitivity
is
properly
set,
the
alarm
light
will
activate.
5.
If
the
alarm
light
is
functioning,
replace
the
labels
on
the
unwind
and
go
on
to
the
Low
Label
Alarm
Trigger
Point.
If
the
alarm
light
is
not
functioning
properly,
go
on
to
the
LOW
LABEL
SENSITIVITY
SECTION.
